Please call 513-347-5800 and speak to one of our certified technicians to determine if a part is defective and needs to have an RMA issued. If an item is deemed defective we will be more than happy to begin the RMA process for you.
Advanced Replacement: Rather than waiting for some items to be returned for inspection and repair before sending a replacement, we sometimes approve an advance shipment of some items. Broken items must be returned it their entirety. Please be sure to return all associated parts (power cord, manuals, disks, etc.) in their original packaging so that we may either return everything to the original manufacturer for credit or fix whatever issue is causing the part to be defective. We must receive the item being returned on an RMA not later than 14 days from the date of the return authorization. After this date the RMA expires, and any advance replacement merchandise will be charged to your credit card, just as would be done with any regular purchase of that item.
Final Dispositon: Upon receipt of returned merchandise, we will test all items to verify that they are problematic. We may need to send returned items back to the original manufacturer to help determine if the problem was caused by abuse or mishandling (i.e. cameras blown by wrong voltage, batteries connected backwards, etc.). Once a final determination has been made, you will receive notification of our findings, and of final financial disposition. If a final disposition is made that the returned item is not faulty or was broken due to abuse or mishandling, your credit card will be charged for the amount on the invoice for the replacement item. If a final disposition has been made that the item is covered under the warranty, you will receive a credit for the returned item, which will offset the enclosed invoice. Returned, No Defect: If the item returned under RMA is discovered to have no defect and be in proper working order, the RMA will be declined. At that time, no refund will be possible. In addition, the functioning items will be returned to you. Your credit card will be charged for return shipping plus a $20.00 testing fee. Please be certain before requesting an RMA that you have performed all possible diagnostic and troubleshooting steps to avoid incurring these charges. Many of the items which are returned to us under RMA have no defect and as such are subject to these charges. Shipping: Please note: All items that are returned must have an RMA. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the carton. Any items received without an authorized RMA number on the carton will be refused at our dock. Please ship all authorized returns via a common carrier that has instant tracking, such as UPS, FedEx and DHL. Please note, that the United States Postal Service does not have instant tracking, and is not a recommended carrier. You may also personally deliver authorized returns Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time.
